Notwithstanding that people have joined one another to kick a ball around for hundreds of years, football or international soccer was subjected to rules in England in 1863. Vast amounts of money are concerned in media contracts, which has stimulated the massive growth in armchair viewing. Millions more fans still attend football grounds to watch their favorite teams. Nearly all sports have become commercial enterprises as well, within which nothing outsells international football. Global soccer has built up respect for all nations, but it hasn't been devoid of some problems, although the situation has greatly improved. Football players of all nationalities have become renowned as the stars they are, when they have been signed up by clubs outside the country of their birth. Renowned players from Africa, Australia, the United States, Europe, Asia and South America are idolized, and they are often transferred between clubs in the international football extravaganza. Fortunately this has gone a long way towards eliminating intolerant racial abuses. Wannabe kids, hope to develop that additional bit of talent, that could catapult them into fantastic wealth, and fame. The majority will settle for other things, but very occasionally a young wizard will appear, and astonish the sporting world with a flair that will be handsomely remunerated, in the name of the brilliant game that is soccer.
