LG - changing the future For a while now, LG have really been setting out their stall for what they believe is the way forward for mobile phones. The whole new journey they're taking us on really began in October 2007, with the release of a phone that was always going to grab people's attention, and make them shudder at the magnificence of what they were seeing. That phone, as if you couldn't guess, is the Viewty, LG's most successful phone ever. But little did people realise, that huge leap had been in planning way earlier, going al the way back to the LG Chocolate. You see, LG had a two-stage attack in mind; first came mobile phones such as the Chocolate, the Shine and most importantly, the Prada. During that phase, it was eminently clear that they were refining the looks, and getting those right. The game was on to make an ultra-sleek mobile phone, and it reached its high point with the Prada, a phone with a designer label attached, that rapidly went for the title of sexiest phone ever. However, it wasn't just about sleekness, as it hinted at what was to come, with its full touchscreen interface. Anyone thoughtful enough should've guessed what was coming, because now the looks were refined, it was time to factor in power to the mix. That power came in the form of the LG Viewty, one of the single biggest-selling mobile phones in history, thanks to its amazing looks (handed down from the Prada), and its frankly ,mind-boggling 5 megapixel camera. With incredible lenses, and levels of technology only previously seen in dedicated digital cameras, it was the first mobile phone to really embody LG's whole new philosophy. From that point on, their goal was to make mobile phones that did tons of stuff, all while looking better than any other phone on the market. And it's in that vein that the beautiful new LG Secret is doing its thang! LG Secret - looks and brains The LG Secret really starts off where the LG Viewty left off, combining even better looks, with even more raw power. You again get a touchscreen interface, but this time, the screen is made of tempered glass. Not just that, but the back of the phone is now made of carbon fibre, giving the LG Secret lightness, strength and crucially, a whole new look never seen on any other mobile phone! Backing up the looks of the LG Secret is its huge list of features. You get a touchscreen, for total control of the masses of multimedia functions. You get a 5 megapixel camera that manages to even outstrip the one in the Viewty, as it includes not just slow-motion, but time-lapse video, something never seen on any other mobile phones! You get games with motion control, instead of pressing buttons. And you get internet access that's fast enough to realistically be called mobile broadband. All in all, that makes the LG Secret a proper candidate for the greatest mobile phone ever made!
