Can an Automobile Run with Water?
By :
Matthew Loop, DC
When I first heard about a way to run your car using nothing but the standard water/H2O you find in your tap, needless to say I was incredibly skeptical. With high gas prices the way they are these days, this seemed like the kind of information I would have heard on the news, because it appeared to be a way to run your can on water using nothing but a small engine addition that you build yourself. It took me a while to realize that one of the reasons I had never heard about this before was because the oil companies and the government have done whatever they could to keep this thing silenced.

Team work the Filipino way
By :
Zigfred Diaz
Filipinos do not really have an exact equivalent for the word "team work." The closes word we could find is the word "Bayanihan" However this unique Filipino word means more than team work. Bayanihan comes from the word bayan which means "nation, town or community." Bayanihan could be defined to mean a "spirit of communal unity or effort to achieve a particular goal."
Bob Miller, You're Way Too Cruel
By :
Bobby W Miller
I know better than anyone else that I use way too much passion to make my point. It's just that until Obama came along I haven't witnessed the soft-spoken words of gentle people being heard. I'm glad things are changing. Anyone can become angry – that's easy.
Two Dangerous Men
By :
Bobby Miller
It is most appropriate that George W. Bush and John McCain are meeting behind closed doors because that's where the two Bush terms were won. But we must remember not to attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity. The good news is, what these two lack in leadership and integrity is made up for in arrogance and pig-headedness.
Democrats…Learned Anything in the Last 8 Years?
By :
Bob Miller
Mentioning John McCain and war hero in the same sentence is an oxymoron. Since I was shot down twice in Vietnam, I did at one time respect McCain until I started checking with those who spent time with him in North Vietnam. His nickname was "Songbird". McCain didn't volunteer to be a POW and he didn't begin to comply with Article III of the United States Code of Conduct after being captured.

Poor Arab Haters

What to do? Where to go? No place to run; no place to hide. With Arabic being the fastest growing language, Islam being the fastest growing religion, and money flowing in by the barrel each and every second, 24/7, these once lonely, disrespected goat herders are running the bid up for politicians, bankers, and mad bombers so high the Christians can't afford to play.
Undermining American Sovereignty To Save On Gas
By :
GARKO
Congress does so many nefarious things in the course of a day that some get missed. Yesterday’s bill which passed the House by a margin of 324 to 84 (big enough to override a presidential veto) would make it possible for the Justice department (why the Justice department?) to seek damages from OPEC countries for oil price manipulation including limiting the supply of oil.

The Campfires of Fools

While Obama, Clinton, and McCain tell their flag-waving supporters about what a wonderful country we have and they all sing out "God Bless America", these politicians know, if the others don't, that at that very moment evil is taking place in Guantanamo Prison and in a half dozen other prisons as it did in Abu Ghraib.

All India Muslim League
By :
Farshid
"The year 1324/1906 marks the cleavage and culmination of Muslim politics in the subcontinent, when Imam Sultan Muhammad Shah led the Muslim delegation and met Lord Minto (1845-1914), the Viceroy of India from 1905, at Simla to demand the political rights of the Muslims of India. The deputation to the Viceroy consisted of the most influential leaders, such as Mohsin al-Mulk, Hakim Ajmal Khan, Sir Ali Imam, Sir Muzammallah Khan, Sir Rafiquddin Ahmad, Sir Muhammad Shafi, Sir Abdul Rahim, Sir Salimullah, Justice Shah Din, etc. Syed Razi Waste writes in Lord Minto and the Indian Nationalist Movement 1905-1910 (Lahore, 1976, pp. 69-70) that, "Minto received the Muslim Deputation on October 1, 1906. Thirty-five prominent Muslim leaders from all over India gathered in the Ball Room of the Viceregal Lodge at Simla. Their leader was a young man of twenty-nine years, H.H. Aga Sir Sultan Mohamed Shah Aga Khan from Bombay, who besides being the head of the rich Ismaili sect of Muslims had close and friendly relations with prominent British people." Lord Minto gave them a patient hearing, assuring that their political rights and interests as a community will be safeguarded in any administrative organization. The Imam realized that the Muslims should not keep themselves aloof from politics because the Congress was already proving incapable in representing the Indian Muslims. At length, the demands of separate electorate and weightage in number in representation to all elected bodies were accepted by the Viceroy Lord Minto, and incorporated in the Minto-Morley Reforms of 1909.

What is the difference between the calling and choosing of God?
By :
Cicely K. Leblanc
Our Lord Jesus once said, "For many are called, but few are chosen" (Matthew 22:14). What is the distinction between being called and being chosen? The Greek word kletos, translated "called," can also be translated "invited." A calling by God is His offer, His invitation, to repent and enter into a relationship with Him.

Is Levitra more affordable Online or are Generic Medicine online like Levitra or Generic Tadalafil smart?
By :
Jenny Cialis Freeman
You bet! The difference between a brand name Pill and a generic one is in the name, shape and in the price. A generic Pill is usually called by the name of the active ingredient like Tadalafil while a manufacturer uses a brand name like Levitra. However, a manufacturer cannot possess a patent for a certain chemical agent such as Tadalafil, this is why manufacturers of generic medications like Generic Tadalafil can legally produce the so-called "generic" Pill. They are the same chemically and since the active ingredient is identical like in offshore Levitra, they have the same medical effect. Thus buying a generic Pill one pays less but gets the very same result as they would from a brand such as Levitra.

Extendable Term Limits
By :
Josh Skandar
Over and over, political activists are tackling the problem of long-term incumbents. Once someone has been elected-- or worse, re-elected-- they become difficult to unseat. Political observers contend that this situation leads to less effective government, and a little too much coziness between elected officials and their big donors and lobbyists.

By :

Nothing is as important as a needy child who you can help. Television commercials show starving children in third-world countries who anyone can sponsor through donations. Many people jump at the first flicker of the phone number on their television, but some need more research about sponsoring a child before they decide. For those that want to see more, here is an overview of the process.
Poverty and politics
By :

Poverty is a universal term and poverty elimination is a universal motto. Poverty destroys individuals, societies and nations. Poverty is hunger. Poverty is lack of shelter. It is the state of being sick but unable to see a doctor (Gordon et al., 2003).

Kill Me if You Can - Account of the Vietnam War
By :
Bobby Miller
Kill Me If You Can, You SOB...is a judicious and penetrating diary of one of America's greatest tragedies--the Vietnam War--and the soldiers who lived and died making it so. While it's illuminating, it's by no means a rah-rah account of the war. This work is a tour de force whose humor and candor is audacious. Simply dealing with the verity of it all makes this possibly one of the best non-fiction works to emerge out of the heartbreak known as the Vietnam War. Pictures/photos can be disturbing.
